A Little Piece of Heaven

“We love staying at Rick’s “little piece of heaven”. Without a doubt, Jerry’s favorite thing is the ability to walk out the door, jump in the boat and go fishing whenever he wants (morning, noon and night). We usually go in the spring and fall for extended periods so we like to pretend it is our lake home (we have even become friends with the neighbors :). My girlfriend and I love “scrapbooking with a view” while the guys are fishing. We also love going for walks and taking in the “up north” views and wildlife. Our favorite thing to do in the Walker area is take the boat for spin around the lake checking out all the beautiful homes and end up at Chase on the Lake for drinks and appetizers on their patio. When the weather isn’t cooperating we drive into Walker and have dinner at either Boulders or Chase on the Lake. I usually have to take a drive to Nisswa/Pequot Lakes and check out all the shops. So much to do and so little time. Thanks, Rick, for sharing your little piece of heaven with us!”
